This lovely 1 bedroom Casita covers about 807 sq. Ft. and is a 15 minutes drive away from Kralendijk and only 5 minutes from one of the best beaches on the Island, Sorobon Beach and windsurfers paradise Lac Bay. The adjoining apartments are next to the cosy Kontiki Beach Club. It sits directly across a small inlet of Lac Bay where you can wade into the shallow water and will be amazed by the view of different shades of turquoise water with in the distance the turbulent surf and the dark blue ocean.
The entrance to the Casita is adorned with flowers and at the door two benches with cozy cushions await you. Especially in the morning sun this is a wonderful spot to slowly wake up with a cup of coffee and enjoy the pleasant view. The living/dining room is connected to an open kitchen equipped with a tall fridge/freezer, a 4 burner gas stove with oven, a microwave, a cone (#4) coffee maker and many other small kitchen appliances all in modern stainless steel. Internet connection and cable television are included, and you are more than welcome to use the board games and feel free to read the many books.
There is ample closet space in the living room area as well as in the bedroom.
A "king size" bed in the high faulted ceiling bedroom that is adorned by a bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower compliments this charming Casita. The bedroom connects with screen doors to the covered back porch that allows you to sleep with open doors, there is air conditioning, but experience taught us that the natural island breeze is a lot more pleasant.
The covered back porch with its comfy seating area and ceiling fan lets you enjoy the warm evenings, or while the sun sets admire the peaceful garden with its colorful birds and all creatures great and small.
